A Forum to Deal With Florida Health Insurance Issues
The News-Press, a Florida based reporting group in Fort Myers, is conducting a forum to discuss pressing issues regarding rising health care costs and the overwhelming number of uninsured Floridians. While the average health care consumer tends to be left out of the debate, Floridians are stepping up to provide awareness and the ability to voice an opinion at the forum. Panelists will include representatives from Lee Memorial Hospital, private physicians, Florida Insurance Council, AARP, American Health Planning Association and the Family Health Centers of Southwest Florida. Do you think that more forums such as this should be conducted throughout the state to give Floridians a chance to be active in addressing these issues? What can be achieved at such a forum?
