Answers For Florida
It has become clear that Florida, and in this case central Florida, has become a focal point for both candidates in the race for the presidency. McCain demonstrated this by answering questions in Orlando on the Local 6 station. One of the questions viewers asked regarded health insurance. One viewer wanted to know what would happen to her if McCain became president considering that she does not get insurance through her employer and could not acquire an individual policy due to preexisting conditions. McCain assured her that under his administration, all families would receive a tax credit to purchase insurance, regardless of whether their employer provided it or not, and should she be unable to purchase a plan due to an existing condition, a government provided plan would be available to her. Do you think McCain’s answer is one that Floridians will respond favorably to?
