Florida Governor Charlie Crist made a trip to Tallahassee, FL recently to promote his Cover Florida health insurance plans. While enrollment has been less than stellar in the plans since they became available at the beginning of this year, Governor Crist still believes that they are the key to helping solve the crisis of the millions of Floridians without health insurance. The plans are available through a select few private insurance companies and enrollees can choose from the preventative plan or the catastrophic plan. Crist insists that members are saving hundreds of dollars by using these plans and it offers Floridians greater control over their healthcare.
