Florida in Favor of Obama’s Plan to Fix Healthcare
Florida, which is ranked fourth highest in the number of unemployed citizens, showed its support for Obama’s proposal on Tuesday when voters turned out in droves to vote for him. Having tried a number of methods in the past to correct this epidemic of uninsured citizens, Floridians are now looking to Washington for a solution to the problem. Obama has promised that through government intervention, he will dramatically decrease the number of people who do not have access to, or cannot afford health insurance. Obama has a difficult road ahead though, of fighting rising costs and working to make affordable, quality healthcare accessible to all Floridians. Are Floridians justified in hoping that he can bring about a solution? Or will his plans fail in a similar fashion to Charlie Crist’s Cover Florida Plan and the like?
