Florida Is Second Worst On Insuring Children
Scary statistics for Florida’s children. Recent studies show that 1 in 6 Florida children are uninsured, and the numbers continue to rise. Strangely enough, many of these children come from a family where at least one parent works, and some from families where one or both parents have coverage. In many cases, parents simply cannot afford the additional premium of adding children to their policy. Why do you think Florida in particular has such low rates of insured children? What can be done to remedy this situation?
