Health Insurance Woes Not Limited to Uninsured

In Florida, its not only the uninsured who are suffering over health insurance woes. A recent report shows that Floridians spend roughly a quarter of their pretax income on health insurance and health care. These high costs are resulting in a major burden on most families, often to the point where it threatens the family with either giving up health insurance coverage, or going bunkrupt. Many employers as well are finding it too costly to offer health insurance benefits to their employees, so they are either increasing employee contribution or eliminating the coverage altogether. This all leads to a steadily rising number of uninsured Floridians. What needs to be done to end this dangerous trend?
