How Will Colleges Respond to The Health Care Crisis

Employers are facing steadily climbing insurance rates, and many are forced to pass the burden on to their employees in the form of having them pay more toward premiums and/or decreasing coverages. Consider colleges though, and the impact the rate increases have on them. While universities have traditionally offered their students affordable coverage, given that many cannot get it through their parents, nor can most have a full time job with benefits. Usually, schoold will have a medical center on campus and offer free or reduced services for basic health care needs. Some schools however are being forced to increase the amount students must pay for these centers, on top of already rising tuition rates and book costs. What impact will this have upon college students and their families? What do you think is fair, and what should be done?
